PAYMENTS POLICY

Stamp Collectors operates as a multi-vendor online marketplace. All payments made on the platform are processed exclusively through PayPal.

Accepted Payment Method

PayPal is the only accepted payment processor on Stamp Collectors.
Buyers must complete checkout using PayPal’s secure payment portals.
Payment methods accepted by PayPal may include:
- PayPal balance
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Linked bank accounts
  (availability depends on the buyer’s PayPal account and region)

Stamp Collectors does not process payments directly and does not store payment credentials.

Payment Processing

When a buyer places an order, payment is processed directly through PayPal.
PayPal acts as the payment processor and facilitates the transfer of funds to the seller.
Payment authorization, confirmation, and transaction records are handled by PayPal.
Buyers receive payment confirmations and receipts from PayPal.

Stamp Collectors does not control payment authorization decisions or payment method availability.

Billing Timing

Buyers are charged at the time the order is placed.
Charges appear on the buyer’s PayPal account statement according to PayPal’s billing practices.
Any pending, completed, or reversed transaction statuses are determined by PayPal.

Currency

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by PayPal in accordance with PayPal’s exchange rates and policies.

Fees

Stamp Collectors does not add additional buyer-facing marketplace fees beyond:
- The item price
- Shipping costs shown at checkout
- Applicable taxes, if required by law
Any transaction fees, currency conversion fees, or payment-related charges are governed by PayPal’s terms and conditions.

Taxes

Sales tax is not calculated or collected by Stamp Collectors. Sellers are responsible for calculating and paying any local, state, and federal taxes applicable to their sales.

Tax collection obligations may vary depending on:
- Buyer location
- Seller location

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

All payment disputes, chargebacks, and claims are handled through PayPal’s Resolution Center.
Eligible transactions may be covered under PayPal Buyer Protection, subject to PayPal’s terms.
PayPal determines dispute eligibility, investigation outcomes, and refund decisions.

Stamp Collectors does not adjudicate payment disputes and does not issue refunds directly.

Payment Security

PayPal uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect payment information.
Stamp Collectors does not have access to buyers’ full payment details.
Buyers are responsible for maintaining the security of their PayPal accounts.

Marketplace Role Clarification

Stamp Collectors provides the platform for transactions but is not the payment processor.
Individual vendors are responsible for fulfilling orders.
PayPal facilitates payments between buyers and sellers and governs transaction protections.
