Hello everyone,  I am new here and have been subscribed to the YouTube channel awhile.  In 1997 my dad passed away and left me his stamp collection.  I have been carrying it around since receiving it.  Now that I am retired I have decided to catalog all of his stamps and I am almost done after 7 months and over 23,000 stamps.  I would like to know the Scott catalog for these 4 US revenue stamps.

The first stamp is Scott # RF26 issued in 1940 applied to 1 pack of playing cards.  It is Rotary Press coil stamp, wet printing
Scott Catalogue notes use of 11 different bureau precancels. Among those used were A.P.C. CO. (American Playing Card Company) and U.S. P.C.Co. (US Playing Card Company). Some precancels have top and bottom lines, some do not.

As for the 2nd stamp I believe it is NY ST110 issued in 1916 Perf 12×11.  This information was gleaned from my personal collection, unfortunately I have no idea as to where my NEW YORK Revenue Stamp Catalogues are in my home.

The remaining 2 Texas Cigarette revenue stamps I’m stymied on their Catalogue numbers.

I hope this helps somewhat.

@jblaha   Thank you for the help.  I would have never thought to look in playing cards but now looking at the stamp I see it.

Yes there was a playing card tax. You can find them in the Scott Specialized Catalogue. The others are not in Scott. I’ve seen them many times in various collections. I don’t believe they are rare.   @jblaha thanks for looking it up!
