This postage stamp is one of the most iconic stamps in the United States. It depicts a giant airship “Graf Zeppelin”, and was issued 90 years ago in 1930.

The Graft Zeppelin was a German passenger carrying airship that flew from 1928 to 1937. It provided the first Trans-Atlantic passenger flight service, allowing people to travel between continents in record time.

The ship was named after the German airship pioneer, Ferdinand Von Zeppelin. It also delivered mail between Germany and Brazil.

However, it was withdrawn from service after the Hindenburg disaster in 1937. Owning a Zeppelin stamp is a crown achievement for many collectors, mainly because of its price.

In 2024, This stamp was worth $525. Zeppelin stamps are popular because of their iconic design and make a good investment since they have historically gone up in value.
