Hello – I have a book of Golden Replica Stamps (US Stamps) all from 1980. Are they worth keeping? They take up lot of space. Trying to decide what to do with them. Similar question on First Day Covers. Got too many of them. Most from 60s and 70s. A few from pre-50s.
Hi @rsb_stamps ! Gold Replicas and First Day Covers take up a lot of space and unfortunately have no real value other than novelty. If you have older pre 1930 FDCs (ones that don’t actually say “First Day Issue” on the cover), those can have a premium value. I’ve seen 50lbs of FDCs for $20 at shows. Take a look at the bottom of this page where I talk about these two types of stamps in particular.
