I inherited a rather large collection of stamps, which was started around 1980. I would like to know if there is any value to the stamps I have. Many are in wax-coated envelopes and/or albums. I would be happy to sell the collection to someone, but I cannot find anyone who is interested in even looking at the collection.
Any advice? I live in Michigan.
Thank you-
Unfortunately the likelihood your inherited collection contains low or no real value items is probable since the collection was started some time in 1980s.
But there have been some collections which prove the above to be wrong.
Perhaps if you can submit some photos of a select few an loose assessment can be determined.

Thank you- I will take some photos and post soon. I appreciate your response.
I should clarify- the collection has hundreds, if not thousands of stamps from the late 1800’s through 1980 ish.
I will add photos soon.
