Hi there,
I know next to nothing about stamps, but I recently came across a collection of older stamps from the U.S. and around the world. They came from an old post office in Illinois, and many of them appear to be in mint condition.
I’m just looking for some guidance on what I have and what the next steps might be. Any advice is appreciated. I’ve attached a few pictures for reference. I hope the pictures give an idea of what I have. A lot of stamps in old cigar boxes, a few albums and some full sheets as well . On some of the manilla envelopes, it will give the year and say mint printed on them. I’m also willing to sell the whole lot. If anyone would be interested.
Thanks so much,
stampdout
Sorry, I do not see any pictures…
These are all common with no value, and the way they are stored leads me to believe it’s a just a hobbyist hoard, shoebox/cigar box collection. I would not expect to find anything of value in it.
