You have a stamp in your collection you believe to be a “Find of a Lifetime”.
If so, you can ascertain such by referring to this link…
Stampforgeries.com – Stampforgeries of the World
I personally found this site to be a boon when checking whether my Cape of Good Hope triangles are the actual McCoy or just a forgery. They are not what I’d hoped for, sadly to say – though they do remain within my collection as examples of forgeries (and noted as such).
But this site not only presents image comparisons between genuine & known forgeries, and provides points of interest to various known examples of forgeries so identification can be done. It also provides necessary links and contacts with various Experts, as well as Reference materials you can utilize.
Though an example of a Fournier or Sperati forgery can be a pleasing find within your collection.
The above site can be a great inclusion to your Philatelic arsenal.
