Many of us have experienced hobby burn out, which leads to us taking a break.
Sometimes the length of this break is days, weeks, months, or even years. How many times have you heard from other collectors they have revisited their collecting habits after just such a break.
Our Stamp Collecting hobby can at times feel more like a job, but it shouldn’t. We do this for fun.
When I find a break can be a valid choice. I myself seek out other hobbies which pique my interest – such hobbies I delve into for a break in my collecting are…
1. Role playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons & Call of Cthulhu.
2. Tabletop Wargaming, such as Historical (Hail Ceasar), Fantasy & Science Fiction (Kings of War & Warhammer (Age of Sigmar & 40K).
3. Miniature collecting painting and terrain building.
But inevitably I always return to my Love – Philately.
