I have 8 complete books of these gold plated stamps in excellent condition and a few other books that are just stamps with out the gold plating.
I am looking for values of the books and potentially buyers of this collection!
I recently went to an estate sale where they had several of these types of books. They were getting rid of them for $20 – $30 each (Much less than what they paid for). I have two of these. They are nice to have but have no real value. I want to get rid of my books – they take up lot of space and add no value to me.
Gold plated replica stamps are novelty items. They actually only have a micron of gold which means it costs more in energy to extract it than what it’s worth. So yes as @rsb_stamps said they don’t have any real monetary value. But they are neat and pretty. Perhaps a gateway to learn more about stamps.
